Travel Soccer
Sports on the Hill has recently formed a partnership with Capital Futbol Club. For players looking for additional soccer challenges, Capital FC will be holding tryouts for the Fall season. Tryouts are during the first two weeks of June. Dates and times of the tryouts are posted at http://www.capitalfc.org. If you have questions, please contact Whitney Minnis, Director of Club Development for Capital FC at premiersportsdc@gmail.com. Tryouts will be held for Boys U9, U10, U11, U12 and girls U10. Girls may tryout for Boys teams.

The Capital FC Lynx is affiliated with the Washington Area Girls Soccer League and plays games only in DC or the metro area. While there are many all girls travel teams in upper NorthWest DC and the opportunity for girls to play on boys or coed teams, this is the first time we've had this opportunity for an all girls team on the Hill.

In partnership with SOTH, the Capital FC offers the opportunity to train and play travel soccer right here on Capitol Hill. This is an affordable program with scholarships available and practice at the Marine Barracks turf field .We have proven success, including several tournament championships and sportsmanship awards.

U8 Player Development Academy
Sports on the Hill, Capital FC, and the DC Player Development Academy (DCPDA) offer a unique Under 8 developmental program for boys and girls seeking advanced training in a fun environment.
The U8 Player Development Academy offers training Monday nights from 5:30-7pm at the Marine Barracks field, from April 6 - June 8th). There are Saturday afternoon games during the Spring season against teams in the Lee-Mt Vernon "Crossing-Over" League in Alexandria, VA.
