 British Soccer Camp

As usual, Soccer on the Hill, in conjunction with Challenger Sports, offers the annual British Soccer camp on Capitol Hill for the weeks of July 16 - 20 and 23 - 27. This is a great opportunity for kids to learn new and sharpen old skills and spend time with coaches from England, Scotland, and Wales. Times are 9 - Noon and 1 - 4pm with a supervised bring-your-own lunch break for the full-day campers. You can register for either the morning or full day (both) times.  Sessions begin with fun, skill-building drills, and become round-robin game competition with each team representing a different country.  (NOTE: Challenger tax ID: 74-2852234)

Challenger also offers a special U6 “Mini-Camp” July 23 - 27 for players ages 4-5 in 2 sessions, 9 - 1030am and 1030 - Noon.  These require a minimum number of players so register as soon as possible.

The camp gives everybody a ball and a t-shirt. Campers should bring their own soccer footwear, cleats, hat, sunscreen, snacks, and lunch (for full-day campers). Water and Gatorade will be available, but we strongly encourage  campers to bring their own water.

A great way to help the Camp is to host one of the personable coaches from the UK. This is a fabulous opportunity for your family to learn about them and their country.  Families always enjoy this and many host year after year.  To host a coach, indicate this when you register.  For questions, please contact Camp Coordinator - Larry Kaufer at 543 3929 or lakaufer@yahoo.com.
