Fall 2008 and Spring 2009Sports on the Hill offers a fall and spring lacrosse program for boys and girls ages 5-11. Malcolm Lester will direct the sessions, assisted by Ivan Johnson and other parent volunteers and high school lacrosse players. Lacrosse will meet on Sundays at Kingsman Field (map below) on the 1300 block of D Street, NE. Girls will play from 2:00-3:00pm and the boys will follow from 3:00-4:00pm. All registrants will receive a Capitol Hill Lacrosse reversible jersey from Lax World.
Fall lacrosse will meet on September 7, 14, 21, 28; October 5, 19, and 26 (please note that there will be no lacrosse on October 12, which falls on the Columbus Day weekend). If a session has to be cancelled due to rain, the rain date will be on Sunday, November 9 (not November 2).
Spring lacrosse will meet in April and May at Kingsman on Sundays from 2:00–4:00 PM.
