Flag Football
For the Fall 2009 season, the Capitol Hill football division of Sports on the Hill will be Sundays Sept. 13 to Nov. 15: 6-8's ... 2 - 330pm and 9-11's ... 330 - 5pm.
Location is Anacostia Park - click 'Locations' on left site menu for map and directions.
Teams will be organized by age groups, 6 - 8 and 9 - 11. A 12-14 age group may be organized depending on interest - contact Larry Kaufer. The age date is Sept. 1, 2009.
The 6-8 group will play house league touch football. The older teams will play house league flag football games at Anacostia and some games with Arlington County Dept. of Recreations teams on Sunday afternoons.
Team size on the field is 5 players. Squad size is maximum of 10. Games are 2-20 minute halves and take about an hour.
A Capitol Hill Football tshirt wil be given.
Players, volunteer coaches, and administrative volunteers are needed.
