FALL SOFTBALL CLINIC
New this fall - a continuation of the summer softball clinic for girls age 7 - 12. Open to any skill level. Sundays Sept. 12 - Oct. 24, except Oct. 10, 430 - 6pm at Tyler field. SUMMER BALL 2010
T-ball and 7-8 coach pitch baseball will start Thursday June 10 with uniform distribution. Kid pitch 9-12 and girls softball 7-12 will start on Saturday June 12. The season will end on Saturday, July 31, with the trophy awards and pizza picnic at 11:15 am at Providence (X) Park. Please bring your own beverage.
Registration will begin May 1 and close May 31. Capacity is limited. The age date is July 31, 2010. The age of your child on that day determines his/her program. The fee is $55. Scholarship aid is available by user selection during registration.
T-BALL – Two programs are offered for a more age appropriate fun learning activity.
+ Developmental t-ball (coed age 4): We will have four teams that meet on Saturdays only at Providence (X) Park (3rd x E Street SE) from 10:15 - 11:00 am. The sessions will be clinic style with an emphasis on fundamentals and basic game play. NOTE: Uniforms will be given on Thursday June 10 at 6 pm at Providence (X) Park. Team photos will be taken before the games on Saturday June 12.
+ Regular t-ball (coed ages 5-6): We will have eight teams that meet at Providence (X) Park (3rd x E Street SE) on Saturdays from 9:00 - 10:00 am and Thursdays from 6:00 - 7:00 pm. NOTE: Uniforms will be given on Thursday June 10 at 6 pm at Providence (X) Park. Team photos will be taken before the games on Saturday June 12.

COACH PITCH BASEBALL – coed ages 7 - 8.
New this summer, due to increased demand, coach pitch will field 6 teams. Practices and games will be played at Kingsman Field (13th x D St. NE). Games will be held Saturday mornings at 8:30 am and 9:45 am. Practices will be one weekday evening. Practice days and times will be coordinated among the coaches prior to the first game. NOTE: Uniforms and schedules will be given on Thursday June 10 at 630 pm at Kingsman Field. Team photos will be taken before the games on Saturday June 12.

SPRING BASEBALL 2010
Three age groups, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12, are offered. Age is determined by the player's age on May 1, 2010.
The registration fee is $75 per player. Scholarships are available on request.

The 7-8 and 9-10 teams now have full rosters.
The 11-12 's will have practices Sunday March 28 at 1pm and Wed. March 31 at 6pm at Ludlow-Taylor field. Registrations should be submitted.
Parents are needed as assistant coaches, team parents, for field work, and to provide transportation to away games. Please identify your volunteer interest to your coach.
All teams will have home and away events and play in a “competitive” environment on a city wide basis. This is not as casual as summer league baseball and attendance is expected for practices and games. There are usually 3 games or practices per week, 2 weekday evenings and 1 weekend afternoon.

Fallball 2009
The CHBSL offers Fall Baseball - an “All Comers” venue for brief skills clinics and scrimmages beginning on Sunday, September 13th for players 9-12 years of age.
The particulars:
Sunday morning sessions - September 13th through November 1st
- Sessions will run from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM
- The sessions are open to players 9-12 years of age
- Pick-up games and scrimmages will be played
- All sessions at Ludlow-Taylor School Field (6th & G Sts, NE)
- No registration or fees are required - show-up and play
- We anticipate 4 or more coaches to lead each session
This will be an informal program but an ideal opportunity for players to maintain and sharpen skills in preparation for the 2010 season - and take advantage of good Fall weather conditions!
